Since becoming a financial advisor in 1989, Mr. Schneider has been associated with a number of major Wall Street firms including Shearson Lehman Hutton, Prudential Securities, and Raymond James Financial Services. Affiliated with Cambridge Investment Research since 2007 as an independent financial advisor, he now offers services through Schneider Wealth Strategies.
He earned his B.A. in philosophy from New York University and a Certificate in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. He holds Life and Health Insurance licenses and FINRA series 7, 24 and 63 registrations, and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. He is an active member of the National Financial Planning Association, the New York Financial Planning Association, and the Financial Services Institute.

As Client Service Manager, Wanda is responsible for managing client communications, opening accounts, expediting account transfers, and facilitating day-to-day office operations. With experience both in financial services and as a legal assistant, Wanda Mercado has devoted more than 20 years to administrative support and client service. A committed professional, Wanda provides attentive and highly personalized service to our clients in order to ensure that their needs are addressed promptly and accurately. When she is not in the office, Wanda enjoys New York City’s rare bookshops, classic movies, exotic cuisine and music of all kinds.
