David A. Schneider has been committed to helping people effectively manage their wealth for more than thirty-three years.

Working closely with clients to understand their current situation and their aspirations for the future, Mr. Schneider creates thoroughly personalized financial and investment plans based on the unique needs of each individual.

Due to his knowledge and experience, Mr. Schneider is welcomed as a guest speaker at investment seminars and industry conferences, and he has provided commentary in a variety of publications including The New York Times, Money Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Investment News, Time, Financial Advisor IQ, U.S News & World Report, Bankrate.com, Financial Advisor, CNBC and Financial Planning.

As a truly independent advisor, his advice is not influenced by pressure to steer investments one way or another to fulfill obligations to anyone other than the client he is currently serving.

The plans he creates are the result of an in-depth understanding of the needs of each client, combined with years of study and academic research into what really works in investing. The result is an evidence-driven, fact-based financial plan designed to maximize client success, free from the influence of hype, fads and short-term thinking.

As an independent financial advisor, he has the benefit of access to investment options that may not be available to financial advisors tied to large Wall Street Firms, which is an advantage that can make a substantial difference for his clients.

He enjoys a sterling reputation for high-touch, proactive client service and unparalleled access, a perfect match for the needs of successful business owners, high-profile professionals, and affluent retirees in the New York Metropolitan area.

Since becoming a financial advisor in 1989, Mr. Schneider has been associated with a number of major Wall Street firms including Shearson Lehman Hutton, Prudential Securities, and Raymond James Financial Services. Affiliated with Cambridge Investment Research since 2007 as an independent financial advisor, he now offers services through Schneider Wealth Strategies.

He earned his B.A. in philosophy from New York University and a Certificate in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. He holds Life and Health Insurance licenses and FINRA series 7, 24 and 63 registrations, and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. He is an active member of the National Financial Planning Association, the New York Financial Planning Association, and the Financial Services Institute.
